With over 30 years of commended professional services operations and management, Margie Kelly has brought her experience and skills to the home care industry for over six years now as an owner/senior administrator to a home care agency in the downstate area.

Personal experience with Margie’s own elderly mother is what changed the direction of her career. “My bed-bound mother, who lived out of state, depended on help daily from the local home care agency. At times, the employees did not show. The agency did not have a back-up plan nor did they seem to care that my mother was left alone without assistance. I could not bear this happening to another family.”

With the help of divine inspiration, this led Margie and her husband, Dennis, down the path of opening and operating a home care agency that guarantees its service. “If an employee/caregiver is unable to work their scheduled shift, we have several back-up plans in place so that your loved one will not be left alone. Peace of mind….isn’t that what we want for ourselves and our loved ones.”

After relocating to northern Michigan in 2008, Margie and Dennis opened Angel Heart Home Care in Petoskey. “We want to continue helping families and their loved ones. We believe in warm smiles, gentle hugs and yes, Angels!”
